Maureen D’Agostino
Maureen D’Agostino is Vice President Accreditation at McLaren Health Care Corporation. She is a Senior Healthcare Executive with a history of success in transformational team building and leadership within a large multi-hospital and ambulatory health system. Strong visionary and strategic skills with demonstrated ability to achieve positive results in quality improvement, accreditation and regulatory environments, including implementation of evidenced-based practices and operational integration of multiple departments. An engaging leader with an effective interpersonal communication style and contemporary approaches to team building, leadership, and change management.
During her twenty-five years at Beaumont Health and Oakwood Healthcare, D’Agostino was Senior Vice President of Performance Excellence. As executive, she encompassed survey readiness for Joint Commission, CMS and other credentialing organizations; corporate safety, emergency management; Service Excellence and policy and procedures. She was also the Executive Director of the Center for Exceptional Families, a multi-disciplinary medical home for physically and mentally challenged children and the Executive Director of the Corporate Services Building in Dearborn. Using Baldrige Performance Excellence criteria she created Oakwood’s business model.
She has also helped and advised for a for-profit startup that is on the cusp of big breaking news, for which she will be a board member of in this new company.
D’Agostino is an alumni examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award program and leads team application reviews and site visits. She also holds multiple certifications in emergency preparedness. She is on the board of directors of Inforum, formerly the Women’s Economic Club of Detroit and is president of Excel Employment Op ons, a nonprofit that mainstreams physically, emotionally and mentally challenged individuals into the workplace.
D’Agostino has a degree in Emergency Medical Technology.
