Northville, MIGG’s Journey: From Lost to Loved is more than just a novella.  It’s an emotional journey that inspires people and gives back to animals in need.

The holiday season is about giving. Whether it’s giving a gift to someone special or giving back to a charitable cause close to your heart, these next couple months are about making a positive impact on someone else’s life.  By giving the gift of GG’s Journey, you will be giving the gift of an inspirational book while donating to GG’s Foundation.  The Foundation was started by Cheryl Phillips after Gorgeous Gal changed her life. It is her mission to create better lives for animals in need in our communities.

TNR, Trap-Neuter-Return, and humane education are significant programs supported by GG’s Foundation. Abandoned felines are humanely trapped and brought to a veterinary clinic to be spayed or neutered, to reduce overpopulation.  Each feline gets shots, flea treatment, and other medical attention as needed.  The felines are then returned and reunited with their colony caretakers who provide them with love, food, and shelter. The TNR program has spayed and neutered 194 felines, and 70 of the animals found loving homes through collaboration with local shelters and rescues.

For readers of any age, this book is giving the gift of hope this holiday season. GG’s Journey readers have said, “If you ever wondered what the animals you take care of are thinking, GG tells you in her own words… She proves that compassion and understanding are the key ingredients to making the right decisions about these animals. I encourage you to read this book and then visit your local shelter and find your GG.”  Ken Kempkens - President and Shelter Director, Humane Society of Macomb
